Who We Are
This policy explains cookies and similar tools on piing.io. Piing Technologies Ltd, company no. 17036814, registered office Radley House Ground Floor, Richardshaw Road, Leeds LS28 6LE, is the controller for this website. Piing Technologies Ltd is not registered for VAT. This document is issued by Conor Stenner Jones, Director. These website tools are separate from the sub-processors in the Data Processing Addendum, which covers personal data Piing Technologies Ltd processes for a merchant.
Necessary
Cookiebot stores your consent choice so the site can remember it. This is required to run the cookie banner. The site does not set advertising cookies or social media cookies.
Statistics
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you accept statistics cookies. Google Analytics measures how piing.io is used and whether an enquiry form was submitted. That enquiry event records the form category. It does not record your name, email address or message. Microsoft Clarity helps us see how pages are used. Preview deployments are excluded from these tools.
Your Choices
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. If you refuse statistics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity do not load. Necessary consent storage remains so the refusal itself can be remembered.
Merchant Storefronts
A merchant's own Shopify storefront is not piing.io. Piing: Alerts may keep a first-party visitor identifier so a storefront notification can be measured. The optional Piing: Intelligence pixel may store one first-party identifier, piing_anon_id, a random value that links page views on that store. Neither product sets a third-party cookie, and neither uses these identifiers on piing.io. Consent on the merchant's store stays with the merchant. Raw Piing: Intelligence pixel events follow the merchant's configured retention window, with 90 days as the current default, and are deleted with the rest of the shop data on the timetable in the Data Processing Addendum.
